Cancer Support

Because cancer can affect your life in so many ways, such as emotionally, physically or financially, it is important you feel supported during this journey. Below are a number of support groups that are here to help during these times. These services/charities offer a variety of online, telephone or face-face support assisting with everything from talking to others affected, gathering more information, or finding out what financial help you are entitled too.

Online/Telephone/Virtual Support

TheÌý and support line offers free, confidential support to people living with cancer and their loved ones. Their support line 0808 808 00 00 sends you through to an adviser who can help in all areas of emotional and financial support.

offers support for women, both newly diagnosed with breast cancer, those who have a gene and those who are considering breast reconstruction enabling you to meet and talk to other women.

is a support group and network for those living with a genetic cancer risk.

supports women who have had single or double mastectomy surgery without breast reconstruction, including those who may face such decisions now or in the future.

Face to Face Support

provides information and support services at Southampton General Hospital and Portsmouth QA.

provides similar face to face services in Chandlers Ford and Bournemouth.

professional team provides help and information, as well as run groups and enabling you to meet others. Or just pop in for a cup of tea and gather your thoughts.

is aÌýRomsey charity that provides free emotional and practical support, as well as complementary therapies, to anyone whose life is affected by cancer.

is a self-funded local support community group for people affected by cancer offering a listening ear, refreshments, counselling and complementary therapies.

in Gosport offers practical and emotional support for anyone affected by cancer across South East Hampshire.

supports women who have had single or double mastectomy surgery without breast reconstruction, including those who may face such decisions now or in the future.
